Bianca Lee is a Toronto-based sound therapist, artist, educator and DJ.
Bianca Lee is a certified sound therapy practitioner, multidisciplinary artist, educator and DJ who uses sound and music to support personal and collective well-being.
With Italian roots, Bianca was exposed to the beauty of classical music at an early age, and witnessing a symphony orchestra perform live left a lasting impact. This awe-inspiring encounter sparked a love for deeply moving and transformative artistic experiences, which has shaped her approach to sound.
Inspired by artists like Jon Hopkins, Brian Eno, Fred Again.., The Wong Janice and Max Cooper, Bianca has found a strong connection to evocative, ambient, and meditative music that serves as a journey for listeners. These artists have influenced her creative process, helping her tap into the power of music as a tool for transformation.
Through immersive experiences, Bianca invites people into a world of calm, presence, and connection, addressing modern challenges like anxiety, distraction, and divisiveness. Her work seeks to dissolve the illusion of separation - reminding us that beneath it all, we share fundamental desires: safety, connection, and the freedom to express ourselves.
With a professional background and training in sound therapy, expressive arts, communications, and trauma studies, Bianca delves into how the arts can act as a catalyst for inner transformation. Bianca's unique approach bridges the gap between therapeutic practices and artistic expression, making the benefits of sound accessible and engaging for a diverse audience.
Before embarking on her current path, Bianca spent over a decade as an award-winning communicator in corporate banking on Bay St. In 2019, she made a bold and transformative decision to leave her corporate career to pursue her true passion for music and wellness full-time. This courageous transition was not only a professional shift but also a personal journey, as her work in music and wellness played a crucial role in overcoming debilitating anxiety and supporting her mental health.
With over nine years of experience in the music and wellness industries, Bianca has collaborated with prestigious clients such as Disney, Marvel Studios, YouTube, Holt Renfrew, Bumble, Elevate Tech Fest, Toronto International Film Festival, and Pitbull’s Globalization. Her unique blend of skills has also led to speaking engagements with influential organizations like TEDxYouth, Fuckup Nights Hamilton, and Women of Influence.
In 2024, Bianca was featured on Cityline TV and introduced the first-ever immersive sound bath installation at The Royal Ontario Museum.
Through her sound wellness practice, she leads restorative sound bath sessions and designs immersive learning experiences for educational institutions, workplaces, conferences, festivals, and more. Bianca also serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies, where she shares her knowledge on the therapeutic uses of sound.
Outside of her music and wellness practice, Bianca volunteers as a mentor for The Forum - a Canadian-based charity that supports self-identified women entrepreneurs.
When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her fur children Nigella and Irie (her sweet and sassy lionhead rabbits), discovering yummy food and neighborhoods in the city, visiting farmers’ markets and spending time with family and friends.
